Course Cancellations

There may be occasions when we have to cancel a course due to factors such as extreme weather or issues with the venue. If a cancellation is necessary, we will make every effort to contact each booker individually as soon as possible.

Red Weather Warning Cancellations

In response to the Met Office issuing Red weather warnings across large parts of the UK in the coming days and the serious danger to life associated with Red warnings, as the nation’s leading first aid charity we must prioritise the safety and wellbeing of our delegates and trainers and have made the decision to reschedule all courses in affected Red warning areas.

Below is a list of courses currently impacted at the time of writing. This page will be updated regularly as the situation evolves.

Please note: if your course is located in an area under a Red weather warning (as issued by the Met Office), it will not go ahead and will be rescheduled. Any onsite bookings within the affected red warning area will also be rescheduled, and we will contact those with onsite bookings directly.

What if my course is affected?

If your course is affected, the person who made the booking will receive an email from Course-Cancellations@sja.org.uk with clear next steps. Please check your emails before contacting us, as your query may already be answered there.

We are working to contact all affected customers directly by email and phone as quickly as possible, and we appreciate your patience while we do so.

How to make a change to a booked course.

Can I change the course date?

Please contact us on 0344 770 4800 or workplace-training@sja.org.uk if you wish to transfer your booking to another individual or training course.

Please note: Transfers may be subject to a transfer fee. Delegate name changes are free of charge.

How do I cancel a booked course?

Please call customer services on 0344 770 4800 or email us at workplace-training@sja.org.uk. Please provide your name, address, details of the booking and, where available, your phone number and email address.

Please note cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee.
