The Mediwrap Barrier Stretcher Sheet is a single-use bedding solution, providing a clean, comfortable environment for patients during transport and treatment. It helps to reduce the risk of cross-contamination, while maintaining patient comfort. Ideal for stretcher trolleys, it can also be used in emergency wards, field hospitals, first aid rooms and other healthcare settings.

Manufactured from Mediwrap, a thermally efficient textile, this stretcher sheet is key to reducing heat loss through conduction, convection, evaporation and radiation. It is comprised of a soft inner contact layer that offers comfort, while an outer layer is water-resistant and draft-proof. Additionally, the sheet is latex-free and x-ray radiolucent. Cut through this to allow easy and direct access to the patient.

The soft, comfortable air laid tissue serves as absorbent bedding material, capable of absorbing more than ten times its own weight in fluids. This means that patients can be kept dry, and is reassuring in the fact that bodily fluids will not seep through to a mattress. Lightweight and supplied individually in heat-sealed bags, the sheets are hygienic, easy to store and require significantly less storage space than traditional bedding.
