The Act+Fast Anti Choking Trainer is the world’s first and authentic anti-choking trainer, helping students safely practice both back blows and abdominal thrusts. It follows AHA, ARC, IRC, as well as ERC guidelines and is trusted by training organisations, medical schools and first aid educators in over 70 countries.
Primarily for practicing the Heimlich manoeuvre, this kit takes features a foam plug system that shoots projectiles into the air, as real-time feedback. Easy-to-use, learners simply need to wear the vest with the internal air bladder and plastic airway. This will mimic the anatomy and response of a real choking situation. With adjustable shoulder and waist straps, the vest allows fast and easy switching between users.
In addition to this, the trainer also includes a foam back slap pad, allowing learners to practice choking rescue protocols as indicated by the American Red Cross (ARC), European Resuscitation Council (ERC) and UK Resuscitation Council.
Designed as a compact and versatile tool, there is no need for a manikin. Whether in a classroom or a dedicated training environment, learners can take advantage of the different methods; either standing, sitting or lying down. Plus, it is made from durable neoprene, not only providing the utmost comfort, but durability as well.
