Banksman Essentials is a fundamental online safety course for anyone tasked with guiding the movement of vehicles on a worksite. Often referred to as a vehicle marshal or traffic marshal, a banksman plays a crucial role in preventing accidents during manoeuvres, especially reversing, where driver visibility is severely limited.

This course provides the essential knowledge to perform this role safely and effectively. It covers the banksman's key responsibilities, the importance of pre-use equipment checks, how to establish and maintain a safe system of work, and the critical, standardised hand signals for communicating with drivers.

Implementing this training is a proactive step towards reducing the risk of costly incidents, vehicle damage, and most importantly, serious injury.
