The Celox Rapid Haemostatic Z-Fold Gauze Strip is designed to be packed directly onto wounds to control lethal bleeding from arterial injuries, road traffic accidents, knife wounds, and other severe injuries. Its 1.5 m x 7.6 cm size provides ample coverage for critical wound management in emergencies.
This advanced dressing contains Chito-R activated chitosan granules that adhere to wet tissue, forming an adhesive gel which seals the wound and stops blood flow. The technology works without heat, making it safe for all wound types, while residual chitosan is safely absorbed by the body.
