  • What is a Confined Space & Why Are They Dangerous?
    Covers confined space definitions and key hazards including flammable atmospheres, toxic gases, poor ventilation, hazardous temperatures, drowning, asphyxiation and equipment‑related risks.
  • Legal Duties and Responsibilities
    Explores who is responsible for safety, the importance of emergency rescue planning, risk assessments, permits, safe systems of work and compliance with confined space regulations.
  • Preparing for Entry
    Focuses on essential pre‑entry checks such as atmospheric testing (oxygen, toxicity, flammability), purging and ventilation, isolation procedures, cleaning, lighting, and the correct use of PPE and RPE.
