Display Screen Equipment (DSE) eLearning

By the end of this course, learners will:

• Recognise how to correctly set up a DSE workstation and stop bad ergonomic habits that lead to discomfort.
• Understand how to use portable devices like laptops and tablets correctly to prevent muscle and joint problems, especially important for remote workers.
• Identify the signs of ‘DSE Stress’ and illustrate how taking regular breaks and changing activity can increase productivity and wellbeing.
• Apply techniques to prevent visual problems such as eye strain and headaches by managing screen settings, lighting, and glare.
• Use the principles learned to conduct a basic DSE risk assessment of their own workspace.
