Evacusafe Mk11 Four Wheel Transit Chair

The Evacusafe Mk11 is a robust transit chair designed to facilitate the safe, horizontal evacuation of mobility-impaired persons across level surfaces during an emergency. Its primary function is for efficient movement over flat ground, such as corridors and exits.

This lightweight, four-wheel chair offers excellent manoeuvrability and can be used to navigate minor obstacles or, with sufficient trained operators, for upstairs evacuation where the occupant is of average weight

The chair features ergonomic handles for 2-4 operators and includes a quick-release seatbelt, as well as a padded seat for security and comfort. Supplied in a compact carry box, it can also serve as a temporary wheelchair. It is designed to be compatible with standard Risk Assessments and Personal Emergency Evacuation Plans (PEEPs).

Please note: For multi-level buildings or where the availability of sufficient operators cannot be guaranteed, a dedicated tracked evacuation chair is the recommended and safer solution for descending stairs. Current legislation requires that any evacuation equipment provided must be fit for purpose for your specific environment and circumstances.
