Product Description

This one-day course empowers individuals to become visible, confident, and proactive champions for mental health in the workplace. Unlike Mental Health First Aiders who focus on crisis response, Mental Health Advocates help shape everyday culture by promoting wellbeing and reducing stigma.

Our Mental Health Advocate course is designed to complement Mental Health First Aid provision and encourage early intervention. Delegates will learn how to start supportive conversations, signpost colleagues to appropriate help, and lead initiatives that create a positive, mentally healthy work environment.

This course is ideal for anyone passionate about workplace wellbeing, including managers, team leaders, and HR professionals. Upon completion, delegates will be equipped to raise awareness, foster peer support, and act as a positive influence within their organisation.

COURSE BENEFITS

  • Understand how to support colleagues and create a mentally healthy workplace.
  • Learn to spot signs of poor mental health and signpost to appropriate support.
  • Build confidence to start empathetic conversations and reduce stigma.
  • Delivered by expert trainers with real-world experience in workplace wellbeing.
  • Ideal for anyone committed to promoting mental health and positive culture.

Course Topics

This Mental Health Advocate Course covers the following topics:

  • Looking after yourself: self-awareness, healthy habits, and stress management
  • Building trust and communication: how to listen, show empathy and create safe spaces
  • Initiating conversations: how to raise concerns and support others informally
  • Understanding common mental health conditions
