Product Description

During emergency evacuations, a rapid, safe and dignified response is vital. The EV-5000 is Safety Chair’s solution to this – an evacuation chair designed for quick deployment, effortless operation, patient comfort, as well as low maintenance.

At only 21kg, this lightweight, yet robust chair offers swift moving of mobility-impaired individuals, whether down staircases or across level surfaces. Engineered with high-strength aluminium, the EV-5000 is an impressive combination of durability and portability, supporting up to 220kg.

One of its most intelligent features is its Safety-Trac belts, which provide the operator with exceptional control and stability during both ascent and descent. Moreover, the chair also includes a supportive headrest with a padded cushion and a quick-release 4-point safety harness, ensuring the occupant remains comfortable and secure throughout the evacuation.

For the operator, the height-adjustable anti-slip handle and additional operator handles allow for easy manoeuvrability and a firm, controlled grip. This is an additional benefit for small operators, who can transport passengers larger than their size.

In standby periods, either fold it away and use the given protective cover, or mount it to the wall in a convenient location of your choice. From offices and schools, to hospitals and care facilities, the Safety Chair EV-5000 meets UK fire safety and evacuation responsibilities.
