This half-day Schools First Aid course gives school staff essential first aid knowledge and practical skills to help them respond confidently to common incidents involving adults and children. Delivered on-site at your school, it is a convenient option for staff training days, inset days or group training sessions where time is limited.
Delegates will learn how to handle situations in the role of a first aider, as well as the primary survey, minor bleeding, choking and resuscitation.
The course is ideal for teachers, teaching assistants, support staff, lunchtime supervisors, school office, admin staff, safeguarding, health and safety, or other staff who may need to respond to pupil incidents.
Please note that allergy training is not included in this course. This topic is available via our eLearning course, which supports Benedict's Law.
