Course Description

This four-day course provides managers and supervisors with the knowledge and skills to manage health and safety effectively in the workplace. It is designed to help organisations meet legal requirements and create a positive safety culture. The four days is made up of a total of 24 hours across the four days, plus assessment time.

Our IOSH Managing Safely course is accredited by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and covers key topics such as risk assessment, hazard control, and legal responsibilities. Delegates will learn practical strategies to protect employees and reduce workplace risks.

This course is ideal for anyone in a management or supervisory role who wants to improve safety standards and compliance. Upon completion, delegates receive an internationally recognised IOSH Managing Safely certificate.

Course Requirements

This course is suitable for managers and supervisors who are responsible for managing resources and risk, in any sector, and any organisation.

  • Delegates must be 16 or over.
  • Delegates need a basic command of English (defined as Level 2).
  • Delegates must complete all modules.
  • Delegates must act in a professional and appropriate manner, in line with our HEART values.

Course Certification & Assessments

CERTIFICATION
This course is approved by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).

Successful candidates will receive an IOSH-accredited digital certificate. Digital certificates can be accessed and downloaded whenever needed on the IOSH portal.
