The Emergency First Aid at Work - Isle of Man is delivered by St John Ambulance’s experienced trainers, combining real-world insight with hands-on learning.
St John Ambulance is a leading UK charity with over 140 years of experience in first aid education, trusted by thousands of organisations nationwide.
We won't just tell you about first aid. We'll give you the confidence to deliver first aid when and where its needed.

This one day course provides essential skills and knowledge to help individuals respond effectively to first aid emergencies in the workplace. The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certification is typically the minimum standard required for first aiders in low-risk work environments.

Our Emergency First Aid at Work course is a one-day, HSE-compliant training programme designed for low-risk workplaces such as offices, retail environments and hospitality venues. This focused course provides a solid foundation in essential first aid skills.

This course not only ensures compliance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations but also builds confidence to respond effectively in real-world emergencies. Upon completion, delegates are covered by ‘Good Samaritan’ insurance, empowering them to provide first aid outside of the workplace as well.

From May 2026, we're training first aiders to control catastrophic bleeding using nationally agreed best practice.
